Teach Kids About Economy In The Lemonade Stand Game
The lemonade stand game “Dollar-A-Glass” on the website bizkids.com lets you teach kids about entrepreneurship and economy. You open a lemonade stand, and set a price for your lemonade. Then you wait for your customers, who will soon line up to buy your product. Sometimes, you have to make important business decisions on marketing methods and new ingredients.
The “Dollar-A-Glass” game is fast-paced and features great graphics and funky music.
Another free, classic lemonade stand game is lemonadestandgame.com. This game has old-fashioned graphics, but is more educational in that it has many more parameters to set. The best commercial lemonade stand game is probably Lemonade Tycoon. You can download a 60-minute demo of this game for free.

I used to play the lemonade stand game when I was a kid in school. It was on an old DOS green screen and didn’t have the fancy graphics that the games have today. It did teach us math though!
I’m glad my children will have the option to play with improved game play and graphics.
